Have played here weekly over the last 18 months. Course conditions are improving, but a way to go to be considered good. Summer fairways are hard and bad bounces are routine, fairways are cut too short for the small amount of watering they get. Traps have decent sand, pace is usually good, room for mistakes and a few really tough holes (for me)x All 3 of the 9’s have some nice holes. At same price, Moody golf in Galveston is the conditions needed for the price at Timber

Beautiful course, very well designed and excellent greens. I really like the outdoor snack-shack idea and the starter Terry was very knowledgeable and welcoming.

Played here on 9/30 .......... The course is in surprisingly good shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all good to very good. Some of the traps could use a little attention. Another plus is that the restaurant/bar is back open (I haven't played here since the middle of Covid) ............Overall, A-

Ever wonder what happens to other courses range balls after they are no longer good for use? Timber Creek buys them! $13 for a bucket of balls and 50% no longer have dimples. This is highway robbery. Please get new range balls if you're going to keep charging these prices.

Enjoyed playing this course. Beginner friendly and staff is professional/courteous. Scenery is pleasant and not surrounded by a ton of houses. Greens could use some improvement but I’m sure keeping greens in great condition in Texas heat is no easy task while trying to balance competitive pricing.

This place is in really bad shape. Rock hard fairways and the greens are sandy and slow. Anyone who has played Texas City knows what I’m talking about. I know it’s been hot and dry, but for $80? Save your money and go play Moody. It’s ten times the course this place is and it’s the same price. Clear Creek and Southwick are better than here. It’s really a shame, this course used to be top notch. Now it’s just over priced cow pasture golf with hard fairways, bad greens, and some big trees. I won’t be back. It reminds me of how Battleground lost its way, this is the same thing.Did not enjoy and will not recommend.

Beautiful course in the woods of Friendswood. There is three separate nine’s at the club. Great practice facilities and lessons. Course is in great condition. The best part is the welcoming staff, they are very helpful on everything that I need

Went here this morning to find a pretty despicable level of care and maintenance for a course that costs almost $80 to play. I venture to say one of the worst values in Houston and I play A LOT of golf all over this city (50+ times per year). This course is at the level of being able to charge $50 maximum. Things that weren’t even attributed to drought were present. For instance, around the collar of the bunkers they chose to leave an 8-12” wide strip around only the edge of the bunker with grass that was almost 12” tall. I am no stranger to difficulty on a course but this was negligent and unintentional difficulty. Fairways were literally cracked all over like you’re on a another planet. I understand this is a drought but no other courses I play are like this. Green sun terrible shape. Literally every putt you have over 10 ft is bumping and jumping all over the place or there is just dirt instead of grass. One good thing about it was the pace because everyone figured out they shouldn’t come here anymore I guess. Needless to say, they have lost me as a customer forever.
